Our Mission Statement   Staves Memorial United Methodist Church is a community of faith called into being by God through Jesus Christ. We assemble to worship and learn the Word of God. We are witnesses for Jesus Christ: Reaching out, inviting others to Him, and spreading the Gospel to all people. We are a spiritual, supportive, and serving congregation.

Large Print Hymnals and worship bulletins are available from the ushers

Cordless Hearing Device Units are availble from the ushers

Our Nursery, supervised by Cathy Stokes, is provided for younger children; suggested ages = infants through preschool

Baby Changing Station is available in the narthex women's restroom

Children's Activity Packets may be obtained from any usher or the magazine rack in the hallway by the stairs

Save Your Used Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids! Lion's Club collects used eye glasses adn hearing aids. Even if the hearing aid doesn't work, they can used it for parts. Bring these items anytime during the year to the church. You can place them in the designated basket marked Used Eye Glasses, located on teh little table by the north doors.

Lion's Club Postage Stams For Veterans The Lion's Club is collecting postage stamps, both used and new. The stamps are sent to Veteran's Hospitals to be used as a rehabilitation program for the veterans there. Put your stamps in an old envelope or plastic baggie and place in white palstic container labeled "Postage for Veterans" located on the little table by the north doors.
